Sånn ser "puteplanter" ut når man ikke absolutt skal ta nærbilde. Det er lett å se hvorfor de kalles puteplanter, men om du legger hodet nedpå dem, så skjønner du plutselig ingenting igjen. De er så godt som steinharde, som sikkert er nødvendig for å overleve der oppe.  

This is what a spreading cushion plant on the top of Mount Ossa looks like, with Mount Pelion East in the background. While it's easy to see why it's called cushion plant, you'll be confused again if you lie your head down on it. It's rock hard, which probably is necessary to survive in the conditions up there.
