Den australske pelikanen har lengre nebb enn noen annen fugl, opptil en halvmeter langt. Pelikaner spiser det meste. Han fyren her lurer for eksempel antagelig på om han skal ta seg en kjapp måke eller om han skal vente til middagen med å spise.

The Australian pelican, pelecanus conspicillatus, has the largest bill of all birds, measuring up to half a meter in length. There's lots of room in there. Pelicans can eat pretty much anything. This guy is probably considering having a quick seagull snack. |
