opened. Now, by selecting ``RGEN'', the menu for RGEN is displayed,
see Section . Similarly, selecting ``RCLASS'' will
start the user interface for RCLASS, see
Section .

Normally, one will first create some rules with RGEN and then test
them with several different options in RCLASS. It is then possible to
start RGEN again and generate new rules with for instance another
threshold value (explained in Section ).
The bottom row in the main window, Figure contains
three buttons. Selecting ``Quit'' will exit from the
application. ``Help'' will show the window in Figure
explaining the program and ``About'' will give some information about
the project.

Whenever an error occurs in the program execution, the user will get a
message saying what went wrong. This could be that a needed file does
not exist or similar. A typical error message for the main
program, RGEN and RCLASS is shown in Figure .
