Unlit NPC: Ghuk Bloodspear, priest of Gruumsh

Ghuk Bloodspear

Ghuk is something as scary as an orc with a plan. And the patience to follow through with it. Devoted to his bitch, Bhakka (bitch in the nicest possible way, of course), Ghuk constantly seeks to improve his standing among the orcs as a way of keeping Bhakka's affections. He doesn't need to, but Bhakka reasons that anything that keeps him motivated is a good thing. He's cute when he's trying so hard.

Cute isn't a word usually associated with Ghuk Bloodspear. Tall (though not nearly as tall as Bhakka) and very muscular, he never goes anywhere without his holy symbol and sign of office - his bloodspear. Red as heartblood and tipped with a strange crystal of some sort, it is perhaps more recognizable than Ghuk himself.

Ghuk's skin tone isn't as dark as that of his orc mercenaries, something that he's somewhat sensitive about. (Sensitive orc? What's the world coming to?) He almost never wears armor, preferring instead to keep his mobility.

He is actually quite devoted to Gruumsh [Old One-Eye, after an unfortunate run-in with Corellon Larethian, the now-dead god of elves], and his secret dream is to carve out a kingdom for himself, making his orc mercenaries the nucleus of his royal guard.

If at all allowed, Ghuk will cast as many buffs on himself as possible, including magic vestment on his elven chain mail, resistance, shield of faith and divine favor. Furthermore, he'll keep an eye out for spells cast, and cast spell immunity at the first opportunity, as well as endure elements: lightning.
