The Herald

Okay, here is my version of the Immunity vs any power man, that I ask for help about. Maybe Immunity was a bit to strong a term. I just want the Heroes running scared, just like Terminator II.

Okay, I used lots of what could be called cheesy or muchkin things in Herald, but he does work. I didn't want to buy every skill, and I kinda like the activation roll.

BackGround:

The Herald is the ultimate success of Lord Metrazon. Metrazon has long sought to recreate his father's, The Creator's, work. In the Future, where the Creator has long since taken his place as God of Earth, and has left for the stars to expand his power, Lord Metrazon rules Earth. However, there are rebal beings of power, who are but thorns in his side. Yet they continously took him from his work. But finally, Lord Metrazon mastered the Creators power.

Using this complete control over evolution, and technology, Lord Metrazon created the Herald of Doom. The first test of the Herald was to rid Earth of all heroes, which it preformed better then expected. With those rodents gone, and the Creator far away, Lord Metrazon pursued his own path to Godhood. Realizing that the Creator was greatly weakened by his wars with heroes in the 20th century (Metrazon was there, but still a minor player), Metrazon planed his attack. Choosing a moment when the Creator was in a healing sleep, The Herald was sent back in time.

The Herald first took control of all the Creator's technology, except the spaceship. It then captured the present day version of Metrazon, and placed him in a safe place, far from danger. The last part of its mission is to rid the planet of superbeings in preparation for the upcoming Metrazon/Creator war.

Personality/Tatics:

The Herald does have some free thought. Its personality has developed much like its master - cruel, and sadistic. The Herald enjoys its own superior powers, and uses them to inspire fear in the weaker modern day heroes. It prefers to hunt its prey, chasing the victim until it grows bored.

It will taunt the prey with fleeting glimpses of the victim's future, revealing future failures, betrayals by allies, deaths of loved ones. It knows these events won't come to pass because of Lord Metrazon's interferences, but wishes to inspire despair and terror anyway.

The Herald does not believe the primitives of the prsent can hurt it, and will fly into a berserk rage if damaged. The Herald will stand and take blows, enjoying the utter helplesness of the victims. This could lead to mistakes ...

Powers:

The Herald can produce weapons of pure energy. By varing to power and use of the weapons, the Herald can produce many different effects. The Darts are for use against unarmored normals who get in the way. The Spear is Its main weapon. The Energy Saber is only used to finish of a already defeated victim. The Neural Disruptior, and Power Fist are used to defeat Bricks, and Martial Artist.

The Herald has a fairly complete protection system. Its tech can adapt to neutralise any attack. The powerful forcefield makes most coventionary weapons useless. The Herald has total Life Support, and has some protection against flashes and drains. Mental Powers are useless as normal attacks against the advance tech of the future.

As the World is a big place, so the Herald often has to travel. The Memory System has complete knowledge how to deal with this and other unimportant problems. The Herald can easily forge passports, and almost anything else. And the Herald does not want to attract any attention when not in combat, so it has two systems to combat this problem.

The clothes that Herald wears can change in a instant, allowing Herald to blend in. Herald looks like the standard blond, mid-twenties American, and with disguise in the memory system, even that can change with ease. The second system is a light distortion system, allowing Herald to move completely invisible. However, this does not work against UV, IR and other unusual detection systems. The Herald also has a teleportation system, and increased muscles in the legs, just for extra leaping.

Appearance:

Herald, out of Combat, is a typical white american male. He can change his appearce with time, but preferes to fit in. In battle, it wears a samurai mask, and a ninja gi (Herald likens himself as the ultimate ninja). He generally removes his energy weapons from behind his back, though they can appear in his hands at anytime.

Hope you like Herald, 'cause I do
