IDA -- International Defense Alliance. This organization is A LOT like UNTIL in the Champs Universe though I came up with it long before I ever picked up a Champs book. Basically, it's a enforcer branch of the United Nations to combat organization like Viper and other supervillians.

Enclave -- An organization of "evil" mages bent on world domination through the total eradication of technology. They usually have grand schemes and don't like anyone who has magic ability and isn't on their side. Some of the Enclave like to extend their influence to other dimensions.

Lightstorm Council -- In short, a transdimensional police force. The council is a collection of mages who like to make sure the multiverse is running smoothly. When they sense that something is amiss (usually at the hands of the Enclave, their arch nemesises) they will choose someone worthy and grant them super powers to combat that evil. (I played a character that was "endowed" by them.) Since they are magic based and oppose the Enclave, they keep tabs on other mages to see if they're "a good witch or a bad witch."
