Liriel aka Courtney Rhys-Jones

Well it's about time
it's beginning to hurt
time you made up your mind
just what is it all worth

All my useless advice
all my hanging around
all your cutting down to size
all my bringing you down

Watch the clock on the wall
feel the slowing of time
hear a voice in the hall
echoing in my mind

All your stupid ideals
you've got your head in the clouds
you should see how it feels
with your feet on the ground

Here I stand the accused
with your fist in my face
feeling tired and bruised
with the bitterest taste

Liriel as seen by the wonderful Harukami!
Chibi-Liriel! Captured by Harukami!
Chibi-Lirikite! Harukami again!

Prior to Project Eden trigging the first War in heaven, Liriel was one of Lucifer's seraphim. A passionate believer in Lucifer's visions and ideas, she stuck by him throughout the Rebellion. Left Heaven soon after Michael kicked Lucifer out. Evil tongues suggest that she too was kicked out, but Liriel claims that she walked (or rather flew) out of her own free will, thank you! Although there was this massive teeth-and-claws fight with one of Dominic's cherubim who took a dim view of her 'smearing' the Internal Revenue. A few Forces were lost in the scuffle, and her Word got lost when she Fe....WALKED away.

In Hell she teamed up with the djinn Shehariah (he used to be called Shemariah, but you know..) who'd followed her down the hill. They were old chums, and managed in a rare feat (among demons) of cooperation to survive the wars following the staking of frontiers in Hell. Liriel has worked for a lot of Superiors, some of whom are long dead and forgotten. Others are known to us today, like Lilith and Kronos. She's worked for Nybbas since just after the turn of the last century.

The disappointment over the fact that Lucifer didn't keep her as his servitor (read: made her a Princess), or in any way rewarded her (and She's) loyalty, caused her idealism to cool off. Earth was a very promising place, and Liriel has spent as much time as possible there. Strangely enough almost always together with She. The two of them have made mediocracy into an art form, and have avoided promotions, words, torture (well mostly) and other unpleasant stuff, and mostly only been in fun (read: civilized and intrigue-ridden) places. They are also world champions in self-pity after being snubbed back in ye olden dayes - it's never occured to them that the fact that they've been allowed to spend such insane amounts of time on Earth might have been Lucifer's little 'reward' to these two old-timers...

At the start of this story, Liriel is working in a tabloid newspaper in London, UK. In fact, she is working in the Tabloid newspaper, namely The Sun. In her Role as Courtney Rhys-Jones, she spreads gossip and scandals and other creative stories to the masses. So what if people get hurt? If the Tory MP didn't want to hurt his family, he should've kept it in his pants now, shouldn't he?

Liriel's stats and stuff. If you're in the game and your name is not Elizabeth McCoy, please don't peek in here..:)
