I skyggen av Himalaya
Når man finner ut at det er litt i overkant varmt i Rajastan, er enkleste løsning å reise nord- og oppover til Himachal Pradesh, lavfjellet rett sør for Himalaya. Det var i hvert fall det den britiske administrasjonen gjorde da den regjerte India, så jeg tenkte at det var nok tingen å gjøre for meg også.
Der fant jeg et par rare byer og fjelluft nok til at jeg etter hvert orket å returnere til New Delhi for å vente på flyet hjem igjen. Jeg synes det var verdt turen, men du får se igjennom bildene og vurdere selv.
Up Where We belong
After having visited Rajasthan and concluding that it's just too hot in April, I decided to be inspired by the British administration back when they ruled India. To escape the mind-boggling heat, they moved offices to Himachal Pradesh during the hottest months of the year.
Up there I found a couple of extraordinary cities and enough mountain air, so that eventually I could handle returning to New Delhi to wait for my flight home. I enjoyed the trip, but you'll have to look through my photos and see whether you agree with me on that matter.
