Originally, this character started 'life' as a Fire Elemental Adept, but then I realized that that would suck immensely when I started playing - he would be far too limited to fill the various roles that the group at that time expected from a mage (the only other magically active character was the usual physical adept, at that time).

He used to have an Increased Reflexes +3 spellock as well, but that was blasted in one of his scenarios. Fortunately, Walter was able to shield the brunt of the spell grounded through it - but the spellock was (expensive) junk. He's currently looking for a new one, obviously. His initiative would be 7+4d6 with that spellock, and that's insanely much better than 7+1d6.

Even though, he is a good man to have on your side in combat, even if he has a poor initiative. His stealth, for instance, is excellent, and if he gets his stats maxed his initiative (with the spellock) will be 9+1d6.

The rtg. 1 Manabolt formula was something I found in one of the runs I did with Walter. Used in conjunction with the Magical Theory skill it might be worth something. The 'Hermetic Circle force 12' is something I'm not sure where I got either. I do believe that to be Elemental summoning materials.

The equipment denoted as '18 660 nuyen in various drugs' is exactly that. Even though he himself does not touch the stuff, he sometimes gives gifts to his 'friendly' neighborhood gang - as well as sometimes using gamma-scopolamine and tranquilizers to calm down unruly guards and suchlike.

The Invisibility vs Sensors spellock is exactly that. It is an Invisibility spell, but is only effective versus various forms of electronic surveillance. I decided against Improved Invisibility - people have a tendency to get nervous if someone suddenly pops up next to them - but if there's a guy missing on the monitor of some security camera, all the better. Looks more normal to the people at the spot, as it were.

Unusual among Shadowrunners - at least that's the impression I have after having played with various people over the years - is that Walter won't touch wetwork. One thing is killing in self-defense. However, unnecessary bloodshed makes him angry, and he is not a hired killer. Obviously, he immediately came to loggerheads with one of the residing stone faced killers, but the threat of not healing him if necessary carried the argument.
